The Arkansas Geriatric Education Center (AGEC) conducts outreach programming to healthcare providers through a collaboration with the UAMS IOA Centers on Aging (COA) as well as rural hospitals located across the state.
Programs are offered based off of annual needs assessment data. These continuing education programs are held in locations which are geographically accessible to rural health providers.
