AR-GEMS

Arkansas Geriatric Education Mentors & Scholars (AR-GEMS) is a continuing education program aimed at health professionals working with older patients who want to learn more about the aging process and improve the care they provide. Support for this program comes from a US Health Resources and Services Administration Grant awarded to the Arkansas Geriatric Education Center.

Training sites for the AR-GEMS Program will be located at Centers on Aging throughout Arkansas. Health professionals such as dietitians, physicians, nurses, therapists, psychologists, social workers, and others, who provide care to older adults are invited to participate in this program.
