This is a one day conference that will address key issues in mental health etiology and treatment in older adults. Topics will include a discussion of new discoveries in brain function, depression and both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, the role of cognition in the development of depression, recognition of depression and substance abuse in older adults, and prevention of suicide in old age.
