Different Facets of Elder Abuse VTC

Pre-Registration for This free video teleconference (VTC) available at http://elderabuse.eventbrite.com.  Attendees to this VTC will receive 1.5 to 2 contact hours of CE credits depending on the individual discipline. 

 Purpose:  The purpose of this program is to educate health professionals about medical and legal aspects of elder abuse.

Objectives: At the completion of this 2-hour video teleconference, attendees will be able to:
1. List at least four types of elder abuse.
2. Describe red flags that may indicate elder abuse
3. Distinguish between impaired and endangered adult
4. Summarize reporting process in cases of suspected maltreatment of
an elder
