This free video teleconference (VTC) requires no participant pre-registration.

Attendees to this VTC will receive 1.5 to 2 contact hours of CE credits depending on the individual disciplines.

At the completion of
this video teleconference, the attendees will be able to: 

1. Summarize the risk for adverse drug events in the elderly patient.

2. Describe the challenges of using drugs safely in the elderly patient.

3. Compare implicit and explicit criteria for evaluating the safety of drug therapy in the elderly patient.

4. Apply explicit criteria to evaluate the drug therapy of simulated patients
